Arashiyama in snow

Arashiyama is one of the most famous tourist spots in Kyoto. Many people come to see the traditional beauty of Japan, especially in the seasons of cherry blossoms and autumn colors. How about other seasons? I went out there on a winter day. Arashiyama was covered with snow and wrapped in the silence. In old days, this was the place where some people were living in seclusion.
